Village-Schools

120 villages are already equipped with a teacher, who teaches the whole village, from young to old, children to grandparents, reading, writing and calculating.

A village-teacher earns 600 Eur per year. So for 120 villages are 120 teachers needed. Hence each year 72,000 Eur have to be collected as donations, so that the schools can be kept operational. Aditionally are needed 20 village-advisors. They altogethar cost per month 1,500 Eur. This total amount of wages contains the complete school-material and the rent of space for setting up big tents, which are protecting the disciples against sun and rain.

 Over 40,000 children are learning in these 120 villages reading, writing and calculating.

Karin, Ulrike,Christa und Bruno visited one out of many village-schools - they were welcomed with a Indian theaterplay of the Mahabharatian Krishna-epic. Lots of parents accompanied their children, because they never met Westeners before. This visit was a large success and impressed the western visitors alot. They feel confident about the fact, that their donations are well received and are brilliantly applied for the children.

If a village-teacher discovers a gifted child, he contacts the Sri-Balasai-Trust. 

These children are given the possibility to make a test.

If they pass the test, they will be accepted at the Sri-Balasi-Residential-School.

"EVERYONE CAN LEARN READING, WRITING AND CALCULATING".

The village-population neither can read, write nor calculate.

The Sri-Balasai-Central-Trust has equipped 120 villages with a teacher each - to run the village-schools.

Further 480 villages will be added. All villages need one teacher for a village-school each.

It is an informative education for teaching the illiterates the minimum basics in reading, writing and calculating.

The children will have the possibility to visit a normal school later on.

For the elders also hygienics, healthcare and ethics are being taught as well as cultural and human values are being conveyed.

These 90 villages are in the outskirts of Kurnool and often are up to 90 km far away, which are as 6 to 10 hours ride by car.

In most villages there is no current water nor electricity available.

The lessons are being held in the evening time for 2 or 3 hours a day, so that the parents and the children, who have to work too, are able to participate without neglecting their work.

They have to earn their livings under heavy conditions.

The trust  Children Are Our Future e.V.  has visited the villages and has decided, to support the project "Village-Schools" immediately.

A donator who visited the village-schools was deeply impressed by the learing aptitude of the village-children and their enthusiasm for the lessons.  

Immediately he sponsored 40 further villages with a village-teacher.

So now 120 villages are already equipped with a village-teacher.

Further 480 village-schools are in need for monitary support to enable them a village-teacher. A village-teacher costs 600 Eur per year. Everyone can take up a sponsorship for a village and so help the population, especially the children, to receive an education. YOU CAN LOSE EVERYTHING - NOT YOUR EDUCATION.
If the village-teachers discover gifted children, they introduce them to the Sri-Balasai-Trust. These children will get the possibility to take an exam. If they pass the test, they are eliged to participate at the Sri-Balasai-Residential-School. Please support the poor village-population.
