The trust "Children Are Our Future e.V." has visited the Sri Balasai school-sites in India and gathered all informations about, and all members have collectively decided to support these school-projects.

Please inform yourself with the help of our brochure, which shows in detail all relevant points of the Sri Balasai Residential-School and its concerns.

SPONSORSHIPS for these children are being sought for and will be much appreciated.

The Sri Balasai-Residential-School was completed in the year 2000 and started with 450 pupils. In the year 2005 it has had over 1200 pupils and approx. 190 adult employees, including the teachers.

For the year 2007 it is planned to accept 1,000 pupils additionally. However, before accepting the new pupils, new classrooms have to be set up.

The Indian trust always strives for delivering the children a school-education. For as many children as possible.

Therein included are also the Concept-Schools, Village-Schools and the Kindergardens/Preschools.

— Nowadays there are 55,000 children— receiving a school-education.

— A gigantic public social aid scheme —
which should be supported from all and everyone.

Attendants are always standby and are responsible for 10 pupils each. So they can keep their responsibiltiy at their best to watch out for security and order.

The teachers always keep in contact with the parents.

The parents receive evaluation reports for their children and also reports about their school-performance.

Experienced cooks take care of a balanced diet.

In both of the dining-halls 900 pupils can be served at a time.

Modern kitchen and dining-halls.

The canteen-kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel vessels and items and so can guarantee a hygienic food.

The teaches and assistants are dining together with the pupils.

So the children can perfectly learn good table manners and eating habits.

Additionaly there is a junior-residential-building with sleepingrooms for 30 children each from first-graders until fifth-graders.

Each child has a comfortable bed in a well ventilated room and a locker for its personal belongings.

(This is unusual for other Indian schools. The children are sleeping on straw mats on the floor and they have a trunk for their belongings, which they have to bring along.)

There ares separate sleeping-rooms for boys and girls.

Bathrooms and facilities are adequate available and spcial trained personnel takes motherly care for the needs of the needs of the children.

The clothings of the children are cleaned regularly and ironed properly.

There are 25 sleeping-rooms in the senior-residential-building are equipped with 6 beds each for the pupils of the 6th grade until 10th grade.

The sanitary units are also available like in the junior-residential buildung.

The attendants create a cozy atmosphere for each disciple. All children find their second home here.

In the residential school the children have the opportunity to fully concentrate on learning, without being distracted from outer things.

This is of particular importance, because the poverty, the sorrows or trhe ailments of family members are distracting the children from school.

Therefore this type of school has been selected.
That school-system is utterly value-oriented.
The education is perfectly tuned to the needs of the disciples.

The goal is: to make every pupil aware, that the learning is absolutely necessary for the sake of a good education.

The children are guided into autonomy for facing the innumerable challanges of life, for facing all possible situations of life with self-confidence and without  fear.

Also sports facilities have been built and a large vegetable garden has been planted, which provides nutrition rich in vitamines.
So the children can have fresh vegetables at any time.

The Sri Balasai-Trust, Kurnool, next year at 2007 will accept further 1,000 day-students into the Sri-Balasai-Residential-School.

Therefore new classrooms have to be set up and all of the school-facilities have to be completed.

For completing the classrooms are still needed 50,000 Eur.

Then the complete Sri Balasai-Residential-School-Project would be financed.

We have visited various schools from North- to South-India.

But no School was conducted as hygienic as the Sri-Balasai-Residential-School.
The children receive noutritious meals rich in vitamines.

The drinking-water-processing-plant delivers fresh and clean water for daily use.
The education-material is always up to date.

We as the trust "Children Are Our Future" help to support this project.

The poorest of the poor children live and receive an education in a dignified ambience.

The land was acqired by donated funds and by taking a bank-loan. The land was consecrated by an old, holy vedic ritual.

The construcion operations for the Sri Balasai Residential-School could be started.
In tireless work the foundation could be laid in an Indian manner.
The construcion works were proceeding fluently in the Indian heat.

The constuction of the building also created many new jobs for the population, so that lots of families could earn their income. That too was a blessing for the people in Kurnool.

Out of the ground the school grew, the dormitorium for the kids and the cantine too.

And while the construction was proceeding, the school was taken into service.

The Sri Balasai Residential-School is placed in a maintained area of 48,6 ha. 

The surrounding area is 8360 km² of a quiet ambience.

The surroundings are green, if not being dried up and burnt by the summer-sun.

The village is called Mungalapadu and is located at 7 km distance from Kurnool.

For maintaining this level of quality further donations are required.

This Residential-School was purely built out of donations and it guarantees an excellent school-education.

All the children are giving a lucky, healthy and satisfied feedback.

The teachers are highly qualified and motivated.

Carefully and devotedly they are creating an atmosphere, where the children are enabled to develop physically, mentally and spiritually at the fullest.
